TRIP SUMMARY

Get to know one of the most visited natural landscapes in Cusco, the famous Humantay Lagoon, considered sacred by the Incas. The tour includes transportation, breakfast, buffet lunch, tour guide, entrance to the lagoon and hiking gear, and one of the most popular photos in all of Peru!

The tour also offers a ceremony to “mother earth” in the lagoon. At the end, each visitor will have free time to enjoy the lagoon on their own.

Humantay Lagoon full day Tour ITINERARY

Day 1: Humantay Lagoon Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel between 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. depending on the location of your hotel and then travel by minivan for 2 hours and 30 minutes to Mollepata. to enjoy breakfast at Casa Salkantay. Then, we will continue to Challacancha. From there, hike to Laguna Humantay (4,200 masl, 2-3 hours). Free time for photos. Ceremony to “Mother Earth” with the guide. Return to Challacancha (2 hours), then return to Mollepata for lunch and then return to Cusco by minivan, ending this wonderful tour one block from the Plaza de Armas around 5:00 p.m.
