Machu Picchu Tour by Train 2 Days ITINERARY

Day 1: Cusco - Aguas Calientes

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at the agreed time (it will depend on the train schedule you choose) to take you by bus to Ollantaytambo train station, located 1.5 hours from Cusco. From there, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes ( Machu Picchu town), enjoying the breathtaking scenery and picturesque villages during the trip. Upon arrival, we will go to our hotel in Aguas Calientes to rest, have lunch and enjoy the local cuisine. In the afternoon, you can relax in the famous hot springs of Aguas Calientes. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner before resting for our visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Very early in the morning, after breakfast, we will go to the bus station to take the bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. At Machu Picchu, we will enjoy a guided tour of 2 to 3 hours. Then, you have the option of climbing Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu to admire the splendor of the city and the surrounding landscape. Afterwards, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will take the Expedition Train back to Cusco, where you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.
