Pick-up and Return

The collection is made from hotels located in areas with vehicular access within the urban area of Cusco. The private service includes return to the hotel, provided there is access for the vehicle.

Luggage

This tour only requires a small backpack. We do not recommend carrying large bags. The main luggage must remain in the hotel.

Payments and Changes

A preview is requested to confirm the vehicle, guide and revenue; The balance must be paid before departure; Last minute bookings require full payment.

Schedule and Punctuality

The passenger must be prepared before the coordinated time. In group service it will not be possible to wait for a prolonged period, since this would affect the other participants. The absence of the passenger at the meeting point is considered not to be presented when the guide and transport have complied with the coordination sent.

About the complex

Apukunaq Tianan is an artistic project in development. The distribution of the sculptures, internal routes, prices and services available may change without notice.

Availability

The Abode of the Gods Tour does not require a limited permit like the Inca Trail or an entrance with circuits like Machu Picchu.

It can normally be booked 24 hours in advance, provided there are guides and transportation available.

During holidays, long weekends, celebrations in Cusco and high season we recommend booking several days in advance.

Reservations requested within the last 24 hours must be coordinated directly with the Peceros Agency Travel reservation area. We will do our best to organize the service, but the acceptance will depend on the operational availability.

The complex attends all year round, from Monday to Sunday, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Transport Information

• The trip is made by the Cusco–Poroy road.
• The tour from the center of Cusco takes about 20 minutes in normal conditions.
• The weather may increase due to traffic, work, rain or blockages.
• Van, minivan or private vehicle is used according to the number of passengers.
• Transportation remains coordinated with the guide during the visit.
• Several pickups can be made in group service.
• In private service, you avoid picking up external passengers.
• The passenger must wear the seat belt.
• Walking inside the vehicle while in motion is not allowed.
• Children must travel accompanied by an adult.
• Children’s chairs must be requested before confirming the reservation.
• The return is made by the same route to Cusco.

Travel restrictions

Strikes and demonstrations

Strikes and demonstrations can take place in Peru and affect roads, tourist accesses and transportation services.

Where a blockage exists, Peceros Agency Travel will evaluate alternate routes, schedule changes, or service reprogramming. Passengers, guides or drivers will not be exposed to clashes or roads deemed unsafe.

The tour may be modified or cancelled when there are no conditions to operate. All decisions will be coordinated by the area of operations, prioritizing safety.

Expenses caused by strikes, government shutdowns or situations beyond the control of the company will be evaluated according to services that have already been contracted or used.

Lost objects

Pay attention to your belongings when getting out of the vehicle, using toilets, entering the restaurant, or stopping to take pictures.

Before you retire from each place, check out:

• Tables
• Areas of rest
• Craft shop
• Sectors used for photographs

Each passenger is responsible for his or her personal belongings during the tour.

Health restrictions

Although the hike is short, the resort is approximately 3,850 meters above sea level. Some people may feel headache, tiredness, nausea, dizziness, or shortness of breath.

Check with your doctor before the trip when you have:

• Heart Disease
• Respiratory problems
• Uncontrolled hypertension
• Recent surgeries
• Pregnancy with medical restrictions
• Serious mobility problems
• Severe history of altitude sickness

Older adults with pre-existing conditions should have their doctor’s approval.

The guide may recommend that a passenger not continue to walk when observing symptoms that compromise their safety.

Reduced mobility

The tour includes exterior surfaces, unevenness and dirt or stone trails. Full wheelchair access is not guaranteed.

Travelers who need assistance must inform before booking to evaluate the areas that can be covered and the type of vehicle required.

Weather conditions

The dry season, usually between April and October, has less rainfall. During other months, rain, mud, low clouds and temperature changes may be recorded.

The tour is not automatically cancelled for light rain. The company will assess the exit when there are heavy storms, landslides, road damage or official restrictions.

Use of drones and professional equipment

The use of drones, lights, large tripods, commercial equipment and professional recordings requires authorization from the complex.

The passenger must process and pay the corresponding permits. Peceros Agency Travel can help with the consultation, but it does not guarantee your approval.

Quad Tour

The quad bike is not part of the standard course.

When the passenger hires this alternative, he or she must:

• Participate in the security talk.
• Use helmet and assigned equipment.
• Follow the instructor.
• Do not drive under the effects of alcohol or sedative medications.
• Report back, neck, shoulder, or knee injuries.
• Respect the minimum age indicated by the operator.
• Sign the required liability documents.
• Drive only by the authorized route.
