Highlights
- Walk on a floating island made with totora, a plant material that the families of the Uros use to build platforms, homes, boats and different objects of everyday use.

- Navigate Lake Titicaca, located approximately 3,810 meters above sea level, while you observe totorals, small boats and elevations of the highlands. SERNANP presents it as the highest navigable lake in the world. (Sernanp)
- Observe the textile work done by men and women of different ages. Taquile’s textile art is part of the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. (Intangible Cultural Heritage)

Selected Accommodation
Peceros Agency Travel organizes pick-up, transfer to the port, navigation, tickets, guide, lunch and return. This prevents the passenger from having to separately hire each component or negotiate services once the tour has started.
Respectful work with the Uros and Taquile
The route crosses territories managed by families and communal organizations of the Uros and Taquile. Our commitment includes: Coordinate the entrances and services established by the communities.
Experienced Guides
Our guides know the demands of the tour and know that a seemingly short hike can feel intense about 4,000 meters. During the journey they control the schedules, explain the context of each island and observe if any passenger has fatigue, dizziness or headache.
Safety and Support
We work with tourist boats that must have life jackets and basic safety elements. Before starting the navigation, the passenger must identify the location of his vest and follow the instructions of the crew.
