Ballestas Islands, pisco route, buggy and sandboarding in a single day

Before Lima finishes waking up, you will travel to a coast where the desert reaches the ocean. The morning begins sailing in front of the Ballestas Islands, between rock formations, seabirds and seawolves colonies.

In the afternoon, the landscape changes. You will arrive in Ica to know the artisanal production of wine and pisco before continuing to Huacachina, a lagoon surrounded by palm trees and large dunes.

Here begins the most intense part of the journey. A tubular vehicle will climb sand slopes and descend on routes traced within the desert. Then you can slide with a sandboard, choosing a slope according to your safety and confidence.

The Peceros Agency Travel program brings together navigation, transportation, guidance, tastings and activities in the dunes, avoiding that you have to hire each service separately.

It is a long day, but well used: you leave Lima in the early morning and return at night after touring three very different environments of the Peruvian coast.
