Itinerary
Arrival in Lima and City Tour
Highlight of the day: First contact with Peru through the Historic Center of Lima, its colonial buildings and the cliffs facing the Pacific Ocean.
Reception at the airport
Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, a representative of Peceros Agency Travel will be waiting for you in the coordinated area.
After checking the reservation data, we will board the vehicle to head to the hotel.
The time of travel depends on the transit. Lima may present congestion during different times of the day, so we do not recommend scheduling activities immediately after landing.
Accommodation in Lima is not included in the base price, but we can add it according to the category you prefer.
City Tour of Lima
In the afternoon we will begin the tour of the capital.
The visit is centered in the Historic Center, where the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Cathedral and different buildings of the colonial and republican periods are located.
We will enter the Convent of San Francisco to learn about its cloisters, library, religious spaces and catacombs.
The catacombs are underground and have narrow corridors. People with claustrophobia, shortness of breath, or limited mobility should report it before entering.
The tour continues to Miraflores and the Costa Verde. From different points you can see the cliffs and the Pacific Ocean.

Paracas, Ballestas Islands and Huacachina
Highlight of the day: Sail in front of the Ballestas Islands and tour the dunes that surround the Huacachina lagoon.
Departure from Lima is made during the early morning.
The transfer to Paracas takes several hours on the Panamericana Sur highway. We recommend wearing a small pillow, comfortable clothes and a snack.
Ballestas Islands
In Paracas we will board a boat with a life jacket.
During navigation it is possible to observe the geoglyph known as El Candelabro, sea lions, Humboldt penguins and different species of seabirds.
The fauna is in freedom. Their presence and closeness depend on the weather, the season, the waves and their behavior.
It does not land on the islands.
Huacachina
After navigation we will continue to Ica and the Huacachina lagoon.
You will have time to walk around, take photographs and participate in the buggies and sandboarding tour, according to the confirmed modality.
The tubular vehicles circulate on dunes with steep climbs and descents. This activity is not recommended for people with back injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy or cervical problems.
Sandboarding can be done lying on the board to reduce the risk of falling.

Flight Lima–Juliaca, Sillustani and Puno
Highlight of the day: Arrive at the high platean and walk among the Sillustani funerary towers in front of the Umayo Lagoon.
The Lima–Juliaca flight is not included in the base proposal. You must book with a schedule compatible with the transfer and visit to Sillustani.
Our team will receive the passengers at Juliaca airport.
Chullpas of Sillustani
En route to Puno we will visit Sillustani.
Chullpas are large funeral towers built by pre-Inca societies and subsequently used during the Inca period.
The complex is located on an elevation next to the Umayo Lagoon. The hike includes a gradual climb on stone and earth.
The height can be felt from the first few minutes, especially since the passenger arrives directly from Lima.

Islands of the Uros and Amantani
Highlight of the day: Sail over Lake Titicaca, meet the islands of totora and spend the night with a family of Amantaní.
After breakfast we will move to the port of Puno.
Floating Islands of the Uros
We will sail to the islands of the Uros, built with layers of totora.
Families will explain how the platform is maintained, how homes are built, and how the totora is used in daily life.
The islands receive travelers frequently. The visit has a demonstrative and commercial component, but also allows to know techniques transmitted between generations.
Totora boat rides are usually optional.
Amantani Island
We will continue by boat to Amantani.
Upon arrival, host families will welcome passengers and accompany them to their homes.
Accommodation is basic. The rooms are usually private or shared, with beds and blankets. Bathrooms and showers can be found outside the room.
In the afternoon you can take a walk to a viewpoint, depending on the physical condition of the group and the weather.
Dinner will be prepared by the host family.

Taquile Island and return to Puno
Highlight of the day: Walk through Taquile, get to know its textile tradition and lunch in front of Lake Titicaca.
After breakfast we will say goodbye to the host family and return to the port.
We’ll sail to Taquile.
The island features cobbled roads, stairs and slopes. Altitude can turn a short walk into a tired activity.
The inhabitants of Taquile maintain a textile tradition recognized for the quality of their fabrics and for the participation of men and women in different processes.
After the typical lunch we will return to Puno.

Puno–Cusco Transfer and City Tour Cusco
Highlight of the day: Arrive in Cusco and get to know Qoricancha and the main archaeological centers located around the city.
The program requires an early transfer from Puno to Cusco.
This transfer can be made by tourist bus, direct bus or private vehicle, according to the contracted mode. It must be confirmed before payment.
Upon arrival in Cusco, we will leave our luggage at the hotel. Accommodation is not included in the base proposal.
In the afternoon the City Tour will begin.
Qoricancha
We will know the ancient Temple of the Sun, later incorporated into the Convent of Santo Domingo.
Sacsayhuaman
We will continue to Sacsayhuaman, where there are large walls built with stone blocks.
Q’enqo
We will visit a rocky space with passages, canals and sectors interpreted as ceremonial places.
Puca Pucara and Tambomachay
The tour ends in Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

We will visit an archaeological center and a textile demonstration organized by local families.
Moray
We will visit the circular terraces built in natural depressions.
Salineras de Maras
We will observe hundreds of pools used to obtain salt by evaporation.
The paths may be narrow and have surfaces of soil or wet salt.
Lunch in Urubamba
A buffet lunch is included in a tourist restaurant.
Ollantaytambo
We will tour the archaeological center and its large terraces.
After the visit we will go to the station to board the train to Aguas Calientes.

Machu Picchu and return to Cusco
with a professional guide.
After breakfast we will head to the bus station.
The bus ascends a mountain road until the entrance of Machu Picchu.
The circuit, time and time of stay will depend on the confirmed input. The passenger can only travel the circuit indicated on his ticket.
It is not possible to freely switch circuits on the same day.
The guide will explain the main visible spaces within the assigned route.
After the visit we will descend to Aguas Calientes and board the return train. From the final station we will continue by transport to Cusco.

Humantay Lagoon
Highlight of the day: Walk from Soraypampa to a lagoon under the snowy Humantay.
Pick up is done during the early morning.
We will travel to Mollepata for breakfast and then continue to Soraypampa.
The hike reaches approximately 4,200 meters / 13,780 feet. Although the distance is not very long, the slope and altitude demand to move slowly.
The road combines earth, stone, sloping sectors and possible mud areas.
Horses can be hired directly with local arrieros, subject to availability.
After the descent we will return to Mollepata for lunch and later to Cusco.

Cusco Scenic by Bus 180°
Highlight of the day: Contemplate Cusco from a panoramic bus, know a representation of characters of Paucartambo and prepare a Pisco Sour.
The morning is free to rest after the walk to Humantay.
In the afternoon you will walk from your hotel or meeting point to the Plaza de Armas.
The tour continues through streets of the Historic Center before boarding the Bus 180°.
A stop will be made at the Mirador de Cristo Blanco.
Later you will learn about a performance of music, clothing and dances linked to Paucartambo.
The final activity includes a demonstration to prepare Pisco Sour.
Minors or those who do not consume alcohol will receive a non-alcoholic alternative when they have been coordinated.

Seven Color Mountain and night bus to Puerto Maldonado
Highlight of the day: Walk to Vinicunca and continue overnight into the Amazon.

We will travel to Cusipata for breakfast and continue to the starting point of the hike.
Vinicunca is located above 5,000 meters / 16,404 feet. The walk has a progressive slope and is made on land, stone and possible areas with mud, snow or ice.
Horses are managed by local suppliers and are not included.
After the return to the vehicle we will have lunch and return to Cusco.
In the evening, passengers will board an inter-provincial bus to Puerto Maldonado.
The bus ticket is not included in the base price, unless expressly indicated in the confirmation.

Upon arrival at the terminal of Puerto Maldonado, the staff of the lodge will receive the passengers.
After organizing the luggage, we will start the land and river transfer to Collpas Tambopata Inn.
The lodge is located in a forest area near the Tambopata National Reserve.
The facilities are rustic and are designed to integrate with the environment. They can use mosquito nets, limited lighting and electricity during established times.
In the afternoon we will take an introductory walk through the primary forest.
The guide will show medicinal plants, trees, insects and possible areas frequented by monkeys or birds.
After dinner you can make a night sailing to look for alligators, subject to river level and weather.

Collpa Chuncho, kayak and night walk
Highlight of the day: Observe the movement of parrots and macaws in the Collpa Chuncho and tour the forest after dark.
The departure is made before dawn.
We will sail to the Collpa Chuncho. Breakfast can be served in the observation area or in a nearby location, depending on the conditions.
Birds arrive to consume clay, but their presence depends on the climate, the season and other natural factors.
It is not allowed to produce loud noises or approach outside the indicated sectors.
In the afternoon we will kayak on an authorized stretch of the river.
The activity depends on the water level and the evaluation of the guide.
After dinner there will be a night walk in search of insects, frogs, tarantulas and other animals.

In the colp, traces, sounds and movements of animals such as Saxes, monkeys and other species will be sought.
Direct observation cannot be guaranteed.
In the afternoon we will participate in a fishing activity on the Tambopata River or in an authorized sector.
Activity can be changed by rain, river level or environmental arrangements.

Lake Sandoval and return to Puerto Maldonado

After breakfast we will start the return to the access area to Lake Sandoval.
The walk has a length of approximately 3 kilometers per stretch, depending on the point of entry used.
The path can present mud, wooden boards, roots and accumulated water.
After arriving at the lake we will board a canoe to tour authorized sectors.
It is possible to observe birds, monkeys and giant otters, but no species can be guaranteed.
After lunch we will return to Puerto Maldonado.
The final transfer can be made to the airport or land terminal, according to the schedule confirmed.
Departure flights must be booked with sufficient margin.
